What are crews in RELL Seas?
A crew is a player-formed group in RELL Seas - its own name, a custom Jolly Roger flag, and a roster of members who sail, fight, and grind together. This directory lists crews the community has already declared, whether or not RELL Seas has launched yet. Anyone can browse crews by faction, playstyle, or region, and sign in with Discord to build and recruit their own.
Jolly Rogers
Every crew can design its own Jolly Roger - a custom flag built from stackable parts (skull, headwear, eyewear, background emblem) instead of a single stock icon. The flag becomes the crew's visual identity across this directory: it appears on its card and on its profile page, so a crew is recognizable at a glance.
Factions
RELL Seas crews align with one of three factions - Pirates, Marines, or Revolutionaries - plus a neutral option for crews that don't pick a side. Faction choice shapes a crew's badge color and its role in the community-run Faction War tally on this site. It's a roleplay and identity choice first; how deeply factions matter to in-game mechanics will become clearer at launch.
Crew battles & the Council of Piracy
The Council of Piracy is the recognition path crews can work toward - a way for organized, active crews to stand out from casual groups once RELL Seas launches. Crew-vs-crew battles are planned as part of that endgame loop, rewarding crews that recruit and coordinate early. Since the game is still pre-release, none of this is live yet: what you can do today is declare your crew, build its roster, and start recruiting before launch.
How do I create a crew?
- Sign in with Discord, then set a name, faction, region, description, requirements, and flag. Once the fields and media pass validation, the crew page is published in the directory immediately.
Can I claim a seeded crew?
- Yes. Many crews here were seeded from public sources before their owners joined. If you recognize yours, open its profile and use the claim option to take ownership with your Discord account.
How does community bounty increase?
- Each signed-in Discord account can support every crew once. One support adds ฿250,000 to that crew community bounty. Removing support subtracts the same amount. Discord member counts do not affect bounty or rank, and this site feature has no effect inside the game.
How do I recruit members?
- Add a Discord invite to your crew profile, then share the profile link. Each member signs in with Discord and joins the verified roster themselves. Owners can then assign roles or remove members.
